How does your service work?

The homeowner selects which product/service they would like to receive free estimates for. You fill out a simple form describing your project and we connect you with up to 4 of our members who can fulfill the request. A service professional will contact you to arrange for a FREE estimate at a time that is convenient for everyone. You gather the information, ideas and different quotes for your project and then YOU decide which service professional best meets your needs.

How do I know the contractors are qualified?

At Lead Shop, we pre-screen the service professionals that are being referred to you. However, it is important that you find out additional information when you meet with the service professionals. Asking to see a copy of their state or county license and a copy of their liability insurance is recommended. Most representatives of the company have these documents available for you to review. Also, we recommend that you ask for references, meaning the names and contact information from satisfied customers who have used their services in the past.

If this is a FREE service, how do you make money?

The companies that are part of our member network pay advertising fees to participate in providing bids on local projects in their service area. Each member lists the services they provide and the territories that they service. Once a member is approved, they start to receive requests from consumers in their local service area and pay an advertising fee for the opportunity to bid on projects. There is never a cost to you to receive FREE estimates.

Does Lead Shop sell or manufacture any products?

No we do not. Our sole purpose is to assist homeowners in getting connected with pre-screened, local, qualified service professionals who will bid on their home remodeling projects. Each of our members is independent from us which is why we make no recommendations as to who you should potentially choose. You make the decision based on the information and comfort level you attain after meeting with each company.

Which cities do you provide services in?

Lead Shop is a nationwide company that services the major metropolitan areas of the United States and many surrounding suburban areas. We do not process requests outside of the United States. Many of our members have multiple locations within the state they are located to cover a greater geographic region.
